During Term 4, three of our Year 12 students took one of their Personal Development Skills projects to the South Melbourne Market, alongside presenting to the school community, and protested Machetes.

Passionate and determined to get one step closer to reducing violence in the world, one of their key objectives for their ‘No More Machetes’ campaign was local awareness. The team created hand-made pin badges to distribute to the hundreds of market goers, therefore spreading the message around Melbourne as individuals go about their day with their badge on display.

Hoping to make not only the College’s local area safer, but the wider community, our students did a fantastic job and collected nearly 100 signatures for their petition.

Well done on creating such a meaningful project, and for executing it so professionally.
