Programs
Designed to accommodate a wider range of individual learning styles, we have flexible programs that will help prepare you for the vocation or further study that interests you.
Find out more about the programs available to you:
VCE Vocational Major (VM) - A Year 12 qualification with greater choice and flexibility. Students are able to pursue their strengths and interests and develop the skills and capabilities needed to succeed in further education, work and life.
Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) - a new Year 11 certificate that offers an engaging curriculum and additional support to develop work-related skills and capabilities to succeed. The coursework is designed and delivered at a more accessible level than the VCE Vocational Major (VM).
Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses are industry-specific and result in nationally recognised vocational qualifications.
Focused on developing industry-specific workplace skills, Youth2Industry College offers over 40 different courses.
School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs) offer students the option of combining their senior school certificate with part-time employment and skills training.
School attendance is combined with one day a week of employment and another day of structured training.
At Y2IC, all students have access to our dedicated Student Services team. Through one-on-one meetings, students can identify their career goals, gain a deeper understanding of their skills, highlight their strengths, and explore how their interests align with various job opportunities.
Youth2Industry College partners with the STEM Centre of Excellence at the University of Melbourne to deliver innovative education programs for students to work on real-world problems, side-by-side with industry and subject experts using the latest technology.
Enrichment Programs provide an opportunity to explore and grow students interests and skills in activities outside their regular classroom. Examples include Martial Arts, Personal Training, Street Art, Hip Hop Dance and Culinary Cravings.
